Dr. Ron Federici is an expert in the neuropsychiatric evaluation of internationally adopted children. He has been involved in lobbying in the USA to improve policies and procedures for international adoptions and is actively involved in humanitarian aid programs seeking to address the child welfare crisis in Romania. He is the father of seven adopted children from Eastern Europe.

According to Virginia adoption specialist Dr. Ron Federici, the man who advised Angelina Jolie as she intended to become a mother for the second time to Ethiopian baby girl Zahara, the famous actress is is fulfilling her dream of having a “rainbow family” of children from different cultures.
Federici also said that Jolie went to Russia last year to support the children of Beslan. Even though she did not adopt one, she engaged Russian officials about the conditions of adopting Russian children.
